Man charged with building site burglaries in West Norfolk

A man’s due in court today charged with a number of building site burglaries in west Norfolk.

Officers arrested a man in his 30s just before 10pm on Monday 21 September 2026 on suspicion of burglary. He was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Subsequently a man from North Lynn has been charged with the following:

Three counts of trespass at sites in South Wootton, Hunstanton and Downham Market

Four counts of stealing diesel from sites in South Wootton (two counts), King’s Lynn and Hunstanton.

He has been remanded in custody by police to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today (23 September 2026).

Officers continue to search an address on Lynn Road, Terrington St Clement in connection with this arrest. There is currently a police cordon in place.
